About The Author

The author of this web site, can work in multiple media types. Recently, he adopted a semantic method of web design using XHTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). understands the benefits of CSS based web design and why it's important to separate a web site's structure from its style. He knows that web sites designed in this way are easily indexed by search engines and simple to modify and adapt for future developments. has now moved on to learn relevant scripting languages, such as Javascript, AJAX and ActionScript. He aspires to learn more about user interface design, usability and interactive design for the web. Although is proactively expanding his skills in the digital medium of the web, he still enjoys taking time to sketch, draw, paint and illustrate using traditional media.

currently works for Vision Holidays, a company that provides high-end tours to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. He designs and produces an array of print collateral. From start to finish, manages each project; he coordinates with coworkers to ensure projects are completed in a prompt manner and he communicates with print vendors to ensure all final products are of the highest quality.

obtained his Associate's Degree in Graphic Design at Madison Area Technical College. Through his education, acquired a firm foundation in the principles and skills of design, typography, photography, illustration, and print production. Each product he creates is firmly based on these principles and each project is completed with professional craftmanship.

About This Site

This site's DOCTYPE flavor is XHTML 1.0 Transitional. The markup was hand coded from scratch and no presentational tags were used. Each page is linked to an external CSS file which styles the content and controls the layout. This site's web pages have been formally validated and comply with the W3C specification. JavaScript is used on this site combining XHTML and CSS effectively to create a "dynamic html" tree menu for the Portfolio section.
